Every other week for the past 14 years Senior Master Sgt. Howard Berkenbosch Jr. of the 132nd Maintenance Squadron, can be found at the Blood Center of Iowa donating blood. Since 1995, he has donated approximately 60 gallons of blood platelets. Over five hundred family members, friends, and well wishers await the arrival of their loved ones in the west hanger of the 132nd Fighter Wing, Des Moines, Iowa on Christmas Eve day 2009. Unit members were retuning from an Aerospace Expeditionary Force deployment to Joint Base Balad, Iraq.
